Newport

Newport Rotary Club was granted its charter on 3 November 1923. We are a friendly, sociable club and the only one on the Island that meets at lunchtime. We have visiting speakers on a range of subjects that have recently included the Island Coastguard, the history of the Coroner Service and the local Padre service that serves the prisons and hospitals. Visiting Rotarians are always welcome and we are particularly delighted to meet those from the North Island who are here on holiday.  Rotarians from around the world also visit us throughout the year and update us on the work of Rotary in their Districts.
